When a new cat enters the door, paying attention to health is the first!

1. Physical examination before entering the door
In order to determine the health status of cats, new cats (especially stray cats) need to undergo a comprehensive physical examination, including: posture, coat skin, oral cavity, ear canal, blood routine, stool routine, especially to detect the common infectious disease of cats - feline distemper , coronavirus, etc. If your overall health is good, you can deworm your cat for the first time.

2. The first immunization
After the cat is 2 months old and has adapted to the new environment for a week or two after being brought home, if the health status is normal, you can get the first shot of the vaccine. After the cat is vaccinated, it will usually be observed in the hospital for 30 minutes, and it will be brought home if there is no abnormality.
Note: It is recommended that kittens do not bathe first, and wait 1 week after the third injection before washing!

3. The second immunization
In order to follow the cat's immunization process, the second immunization should be done at an interval of 3 weeks after the first immunization. Before the injection, it is still necessary to confirm that the cat is in good health.

4. The third immunization
It is recommended that the third shot of the cat be vaccinated before the age of 6 months. If there are no special circumstances, the cat has gradually acquired immunity during the three immunization process.
The rabies vaccine is usually given when the cat gets the last shot of the infectious disease vaccine.

5. Detection of antibodies
In the complete cat immunization process, in addition to three vaccine injections, antibodies should be tested 2 to 3 weeks after the last immunization to confirm whether the cat is immunized successfully and whether it has acquired sufficient immunity.
If the antibody level is not up to the standard, you need to continue to strengthen the immunization~
